We’ve consulted our internal sources and we are pleased to put these five shows on the green list, officially marking them as Must-see TV.

There’s a family friendly pandemic set drama on Netflix, along with a quirky sitcom and a thoroughly modern rom-com. Plus, history is being revamped on My5, whilst Sheffield’s Sean Bean is starring in a gritty new drama on the BBC.

Here’s today’s Must List

Time

1 Season BBC iPlayer 3 x 60 mins
Warning: this isn’t bed time viewing. Unless of course an hour of anxiety inducing, claustrophobic, violent telly is your idea of a warm cup of Horlicks.
Score: 8.9
1 Season My5 3 x 60 mins
In 2020, we appeared to formally wave ta-ta to fact-based period dramas, instead welcoming in raucous shag fests in Georgian dresses. Luckily Channel 5 got the memo, and are here with the latest historically inaccurate hoot.
Score: 6.5
2 Seasons Netflix 12x 25 mins
We don’t know about you, but when Team Must think about rom-coms, our minds instantly go back to the 90s. They just don’t make them like they used to. But luckily, in the case of this one, they sometimes make them better.
Score: 8.2
1 Season Netflix 8 x 40 mins
Whilst the long-term impacts of the coronavirus pandemic are yet to be seen, after watching this dystopian YA drama, we’re just glad that our kids haven’t yet started sprouting antlers and tails.
Score: 6.3
5 Seasons Netflix 65 x 20 mins
Like with Schitt’s Creek, this sitcom went from a little-known but much-loved series to a smash hit show with a huge fan base, all thanks to being added to Netflix’s library.
Score: 8.4
