Whilst spring is apparently running late this year, we’re bang on time with this week’s Must List.

And it’s a cracker – we’ve got an emotional documentary from a much loved sports star, a chuckle-filled comedy on Sky, a brand new season of Fargo, and a YouTube couple living the dream. Plus, move over Bridgerton, there’s a new sexy period drama in town…

Here’s what to watch this week

1 Season BBC iPlayer 3 x 60 mins
After the booming success of bonkers Bridgerton, we now expect all period dramas to come with rampant shagging, camp costumes and wonderfully contrived conversation. Luckily screenwriter Emily Mortimer got the memo with this adaptation.
Score: 8.0
1 Season BBC iPlayer 1 x 60 mins
We’re used to seeing everyone’s favourite former Arsenal striker Ian Wright cheerfully chatting away on a BBC sofa with fellow football fanatics. But in this moving and profound documentary, we learn of the difficult childhood that preceded his sporting success.
Score: 7.8
1 Season Now, Sky 6 x 20 mins
With that title you may well be preparing yourself for a new high-octane medical drama with disaster round every corner. Well, you’d be right about that last part, but the drama is being left behind in this wonderfully silly show about NHS paramedics.
Score: 6.7

Fargo

4 Seasons Netflix 41 x 50
You’ve got to be pretty bold to take an iconic Coen brothers film and turn it into a series, and we completely understand if you expect this show to fall face first into the snow.
Score: 8.8
1 Season YouTube 432 x 20 mins
For Riley and Elayna, life at sea is no daydream – they live, work and raise their son Lenny on their boat, La Vagabond, as they sail round the world.
Score: 8.9
